It’s the same question from my side too….why did’nt the whole of Mcity BB find the comments derogatory in any way???? At the same time I don’t bother refraining myself from such postings, because I have the very right to share my experience in BB and will continue to do it in future also..if anyone colours it with regionalism I have nothing to do.

If my statement is derogative, wat abt the one that started the whole of this discussion here?
See, my point is simple, Irritating tamil songs is the only awkward comment here. I wanted an explanation because it was posted in public.
Am sure, had i posted something like irritaiting salman khan's gestures, intolerable hindi flop movie chains , it wud ve exploded like anything.
The same was the reaction from my side too.

Apologies if you took it in the other way, but do refrain from posting such comments, this is only a suggestion boss.

You are over-reacting. You cannot say that every single person should enjoy Tamil songs. If it’s played the whole night, anyone will get irritated especially if they cannot understand or enjoy it. I am a tamilian and it does not hurt my sentiments in any way. Just let it go. Asking for explanation like this is too much.
Thanks and Regards

Hi,
Havent gone thro BB for few weeks, but heard my colleagues talking about this particular post.
Still your explanation is pending for ur below post.
What is that you feel so irritating about tamil songs?
An explanation is needed here. If you dont feel like giving it here, contact me over my mobile and let me know what made you to write such a post here .
This is strictly not advisable and this might hurt regional sentiments.

I think ‘Sugar Candy’ is not a appropriate word. It means ‘Inipu Mittai’. Even the following pictures are also known as Sugar Candy.
There is no specific English word for Balli Mittai (as far as I know) J

Hi all,
Quite popular with kids (and some adults like me J) , there’s this candy. It’s simply a cumin seed, coated with a hard sugar-type candy. In Tamil, we call it “balli mittai”. I am not sure of what they call it in other states. I wish I could post a picture of it, so that Infoscions from other states could also understand, but couldn’t find one.
Can someone please tell me what is the English word for it?

Hi All,
I don’t know Where to raise this kind of issues, so posting here.
Today I saw LIVE INSECTS roaming freely inside packets of Turmeric Stems(Haldi) in MORE.
And they are selling those kind of stuffs.
I don’t know for how long are those stuffs there and still not yet sold.
And also the medicine shop inside MORE, I went there twice, once for ENO and once for SARIDON but useless.
Why are these shops open when they cannot keep common medicines?
And More is infact very small.
Most of you coming from Mysore must have known LOYAL WORLD, atleast that was far more better.
And the staffs here at MORE, they should be knowing Hindi(if not English).

Subject: Infosys Dormitory for male "Corporates(?)"
Hi BB,
Congratulations to the facilities for providing M city Infosys with an excellent dormitory.
I do use it occasionally when need be and the comfort that it provides is great.
Nice beds and blankets and good washrooms/bathrooms. (although the AC temp is a bit skewed, but that is hardly the matter of concern here).
All of this is coupled with:
Men taking their smelly socks with them to bed.
Men attending “unavoidable” calls at night from the bed.
Men reluctant to silent their mobiles.
Men snoring in high volume.
Of course, I will not complain about these above “small” things.
Adding:
Men drying their undergarments in the bathrooms.
Men leaving behind used shampoo sachets and soap wrappers.
Men using up whole of the tissue paper roll and unsuccessfully trying to drown it in the toilet vessel.
Now these Could not be tolerated…
Now, I can be ignorant about the fact whether we are allowed to wash our clothes in the dormitory bathrooms (and I apologize, sincerely);
And I may be the only person unable to tolerate about a few(many) “washed” undergarments put up for drying in the bathrooms.
But guys,
Please treat the dormitory and its users with some respect and it won’t be too much expecting it from us corporate men.
This is hardly a public utility.
Just my personal suggestions to make the sleep in dormitory more comfortable for everyone:
They have provided a shoe rack for us to keep our shoes. Use it.
Unavoidable calls? Request you to go out of the dormitory. You would not want everyone else to listen to your personal talk, would u?
Mobiles have an option to silent the ringtones. Use it – atleast inside the dorm.
Tissue rolls can be accommodated in the waste bins provided at the side of the vessel.
Manage your own waste paper/wrappers/polythene bags. You brought it in, you throw it away.
Well, I cannot comment about 5…
Thanks and regards,
