It’s the same question from my side too….why did’nt the whole of Mcity BB  find the comments derogatory in any way???? At the same time I don’t bother  refraining myself from such postings,because I have the very right to share my experience in BB and will continue to do it in future also..if anyone colours it with regionalism I have nothing to do.

If my statement is derogative, wat abt the one that started the whole of this discussion here?
See, my point is simple, Irritating tamil songs is the only awkward comment here. I wanted an explanation because it was posted in public.
Am sure, had i posted something like irritaiting salman khan's gestures, intolerable hindi flop movie chains , it wud ve exploded like anything.
The same was the reaction from my side too.

You are over-reacting. You cannot say that every single person should enjoy Tamil songs. If it’s played the whole night, anyone will get irritated especially if they cannot understand or enjoy it. I am a tamilian and it does not hurt my sentiments in any way. Just let it go. Asking for explanation like this is too much.

I have  travelled once in this train,it was scheduled at 23:55 but the train came at about 5:30 in the morning…it was really irritating spending the whole night in the railway platform,enjoying the mosquito bites and tamil songs…:(

The train starts from Gorakhpur and reaches Chennai at 23.55pm.

I think ‘Sugar Candy’ is not a appropriate word. It means ‘Inipu Mittai’. Even the following pictures are also known as Sugar Candy.

There is no specific English word for Balli Mittai (as far as I know) J

Hi all,

Quite popular with kids (and some adults like me J) , there’s this candy. It’s simply a cumin seed, coated with a hard sugar-type candy. In Tamil, we call it “balli mittai”. I am not sure of what they call it in other states. I wish I could post a picture of it, so that Infoscions from other states could also understand, but couldn’t find one.
